Equus is located in Suburban, West Boynton Beach, Florida.

Equus is a collaborative development of the builders Landmark Homes and Ball Group.  Their vision was to have a luxury community in Boynton Beach Florida catering to the horse community.  Next to the community is the Equus Equestrian Center and Stables where residents can board their horses.  It is also directly across from Palm Meadows, the elite thoroughbred training center that is the home of many of the worlds best trainers, jockeys and fastest horses.

Most of the lots in Equus are twice the size of comparable communities in the area as half of the 260′ depth is reserved as a paddock/corral area.  Horse owners can have their horses there during the day so they can take advantage of the riding trails around and throughout the community itself.  While not being able to build permanent structures, this space is perfect for a family who wants to just have a place where the kids and dogs can run and play out back.

Equus has a gorgeous clubhouse inspired by the same “French Manor” style of the community with high ceilings and rich wood trims.  The main room in the clubhouse overlooks the jumping ring of the equestrian center so you can relax and watch the beautiful horses.

Equus was just taken over by GL Homes who plans to build 75 new homes in models that are similar to the past builders…but also a few of the largest and most popular models from some of GL Homes’ other luxury developments.  While there was a drop off in sales due to the market crashing on Equus in 2006-2007, GL Homes has already kick-started sales and will get this gorgeous development sold out ASAP.

Equus is located just North of Boynton Beach Boulevard on Lyons Road… directly North of GL Homes Canyon Communities and Valencia Reserve!
